If I'm doing all this what sort of amp should i get? Also will I need to upgrade my battery?

If your Battery is in good nick the best thing to upgrade is the Alternator first and the Big 3. As the system is mainly going to be listened to when driving (i guess) and its only when the engines not running or the Alt is not producing enough power is when a big battery comes in to play.

Amp wise... i single 4 Channel jobby with about 70 to 150 watts RMS per channel.

If you have a standard 55Amp Lucas A-127 alternator then you can upgrade it to a 75A one by changing the regulator. There is no difference in the windings, stator or rotor between the 55A or 75A version Here is a LINK for a regulator.
