i was driving my mini home from college yesterday and there must have been an inset day, anyway these kids where on the steet above mine on these steps and the threw from behind a wall half a red brick (house brick) and a boulder the size of a cocking apple i slammed the breaks on and managed to avoid the brick but as i skidded aroudn the break the boulder smacked my grill and dented two of the slatted alot! 10mm to the left and it would have smashed my spolight! i am VERY ANGRY! so i chased them bare in mind i am 18 and they where 16? i am shorter than some of them! lol i told them fair enough i knew them all! i told them that i was going to go tell their parents, then one of the parents had the cheek to say i shouldnt have been driving like an idiot and they wouldnt have thrown it? :erm: no is it me or is that stupid!? what do you think i should do 3 of the kids parents said no my boy wouldnt do that! and the otherone said the statment above^ about being an idiot what should i do? bill them for the grille?

Go to the police, you have the damage to your car, and if you can get the rocks thrown then even better.

nothing is gunna feel better than revenge, the police will be slow and then not actually do anything, speaking from experience they caught the bastards red handed breaking into my car and still didnt do anything not even pay for the damage! so i say get some bricks and throw them through there parents house windows and say shouldnt have been bringing your kids up like an idiot!

Perhaps use the threat of the police on the parents (if they are that stupid though I doubt they will be worried) or just go to the police. But do you have a witness?

As people have said they could do ALOT worse next time.

I know how you feel, i got a rugby ball kicked at my car when i was doing 30, lucky enough it hit the curve on the bonnet and no damage was done, i have also got stones thrown at my car when driving by the same bunch of kids a week or so later, they all need shooting!
