Think i'm just going to wire in a tachometric relay or a LPG fuel cut off switch.
both take a signal off the ve- of the coil, so when the engine is running the pumps runs, when the engine stalls or not running the pump stops.

going to also put in an inertia switch for good measure, in cause of impact.

Having fitted a 1275 metro engine with the integral starter to my mini i assume all the brown wires i connected together and attatched to the
battery terminal, one of them is from the alternator ? i am asking this because i dont want to overload the fuse box, i have taken a 30amp wire from this and connected it to the fuse box, i intend to run this to the relay for the fuel pump and and the relay for 4 driving lamps, any thoughts please on this improved power circuit
