ya i just remember just rang mum she was just about to stick it in postbox as i was getting it in garage so gonna get heritage certificate then apply for it

You shouldn't have paid £350 for it without the V5. The scrappy had taken you for a ride by the sounds of it.

Should have photographed the vin plate yesterday, would have saved your bacon!

ill get her back on the road with out a doubt it was sat in a farm all it life till the farmer scrapped it trying to source which farm it came from as he scrapped 4 minis in total and a old metro with a 998 in it

dont u need vin or body number for an hertiage cert? what year van is it as certs only available for certain ages?

dont want to piss on your fire like, but be prepared for the worst.

I surprised no one noticed this

The VIN and V5 have vanished because the vehicle has indeed BEEN SCRAPPED

They no you wont have any leg to stand on.

Did you get a receipt of sale?

WHEN Scrapped all the details are wiped from the dvla thats why you cant find it on there

Yep got a recipt from then and it was scrapped with out the v5 because prev owner had lost it am good friends with one of the lads at the scrappy and he said to me it just came in and was dumped there and guy was paided and he went and then i came and got it from them

Well in honest i do hope it isnt what i said. It might not of been the scrappy guys it might of been the guy who sold it to them who was a bit shifty ;) :P

Good luck with your new project, looks like a lot of work but at least you saved another mini from the crusher!
