the first thing i do with locking wheel nuts on a new car is, drive straight to my tyre fitters, and bin them!!

OP bad luck!!! but it happens - if it happens again (not that it will but anythings possible) find your local 2nd hand tyre fitters - they normally have huge buckets of locking nut sockets lying around for the very purpose - lost my socket - 10 minutes of rumaging and got 3 that fit - on the proviso I left them with one... £5 for the other 2....
