I'd say get on the wheels, spray the centres black and polish the rim. Not hard but takes ages and well worth it. LIke you said, matching black door mirrors then Get some Hi-Lo's on there and lower it. I'd keep the black trim and orange bits as you see way too much chrome these days...

stainless steel where you can, if you get cheap chrome it looks grotty fast

I'd say stray from the chrome. Too much can look rather tacky, in my opinion. Black cars need a continuing theme of subtlety, coupled with some rather ostentatiously shiny wheels. It'll look classy, but still have the "pop".

Thanks guys, I'm trying to keep a nice balance between the chrome and black, staying away from the chrome slightly, i have a chrome bumper, grill and handles, and planning on getting black mirrors, black trim and black wheel arch trim, so wheels... where to start?

I fully agrre with the lowering post, this would lock sick lowered. and get some bullet mirrors on that, . And yes i think to much shiny would be bad.
