Well this is going to be the second coming of my mini. Its been of the road for a few weeks and thanks to me getting carried away with the minispares discount period i have a few bits to get started with the conversion.

The plan is to keep the metro turbo engine reasonably standard to start with a modified cylinder head for when more boost is required. Oh and the lovely straight cut gearbox! :-D

I thought i would give a bit of an update, its not much due to excessive crimbo and new year drinking!
So basically the front sub frame has been painted and the mini made into a reliant robin Posted Image......makes moving it in and out of the garage with no front sub frame a lot easier!
Oh and i built up my straight cut gear set too.

I did try them in a gun metal type colour, but it didn't look quite right. With a few more pieces in black should make it look better.

And these pictures make it look a bit more red than what it is. The colour is Ford sunburst red (tut tut from the purists) :teehee:

Mini looks great too! any plans to change the exterior?
