Basically, I feel like treating my Mini, but I would like to keep the modifications to the styling semi-period.

I've been thinking about Britax styling for ages, but I'm not sure about it. I sort of want to go for it, but I'm looking for other ideas of what people did with their minis in the early-mid 70s really.

Any piccies or ideas much appreciated! :D

A good set of sideburns are a good start.

And a leisure suit.

I can remember buying a rear window louvre for my 850 in 1977 and also a Liverpool Football Club tinted strip for the front window.
Oh and an electric ariel mounted to the rear offside panel!

I've often wondered about a louvre too, but I dunno.....certainly can't put an LFC sticker on any vehicle of mine, I prefer the other North-Western Reds! :shifty:

Thankings :D

It's more outside styling I'm thinking about really.

The inside is kinda as I want it really.

I just don't know whether to just stick with plain black and de-sticker it. Or whether to go for something that looks like a 70s racer really.

Rear window louvres, a set of Slotmag alloys (10s of course), a Cherry Bomb twin-exit exhaust, some steel wheelarch flares and at least one "STP" sticker.

Oh, and an aerial that stretched from the front wing and is curved over the roof in an arc to the rear gutter. And an illegal CB.

I quite fancy the idea of a big-ass whippy CB aerial to be honest

Hows this ?
1.Change the colour to soemthing period - simplistically mustard, orange , olive, poo brown etc ....
2. Find a set of the aluminium Cosmic wheelarches
3. Slap on the slotmags
4. 1275GT side stripes obligatory - even if, make that especially if an 850
5, Replace interior with deckchair pattern nylon or better viynl..
6 the most outsize pair of spots you can find
7. CB aerial obligatory - prerably one that'll scrape bridges ..
& straight through exhaust with a cherry bomb on the end

Job done :D
