Hi all i have been trying to do an update for some time now and failing every time due to computer problems so i am going to do a few short posts to make one big one as there's nothing more annoying than the pc crashing half way through a long build.

So to start off at castle coomb mini day i decided to buy some braided fuel line mine was rubbing every thing underneath due to the steering rack mods i bort 6 meters of fuel line 8mm internal diameter and ran it through the inside of the car this time so there is less for it to rub against and i am planning on running the car low so they wont hit any thing so any way hear is a pick of just the one petrol line being run through the car

I decided to make the clams to hold them down my self as i could not be bothered to wate around for them i used some sheet metal i had in the garage i cut a few strips i them bent it around a 13mm socket and held it down with a self tapper the self tapper squished it all together but not two tight. I also wraped some insulating tape around the fuel pipe just to stop it chafing.

I have been doing allot of the little jobs that i have not got around to doing so i decided to make brackets to hold the heater box up simple job abit of flat bar with a bend in it and a hole for the bolt to go through then weld it to the car job done.

My gear linkage was the next problem goes in to all the gears fine just the stick was pointing towards the passenger side and all the gears didn't look in the write place.
Also i could not reach it when i was in my seat
Dont now if you can see it in the pick but its in neutral but dont look like it
Posted Image

So lucky i had an old mini quick shift lying around so i choped both of the gear sticks up and made one mini looking one
I can now reach the gear stick and it goes into the gears nice and i can tell what gear its in but they are abit sloppy can any one tell me if there Honda gear linkage is tight or more sloppy like mine i kind of like it as it reminds me of a mini

I have also picked up a full carbon fiber front end but its not exposed weav i so as my dads a carpinter i got him on the cutting as i didnt wont to mess it up this is the exhaust had to chop a fair bit away

Posted Image

I could not get it to sit back far enough because of the exhaust sorted now tho

It was mad seeing the car with a front end on again it looked so tight in there

I had to draw some evil eyes on it made it soo look mean :) i have to get the angry eyes for this

Posted Imagei also have had these arches lying around in my room for a few months so had to have a test fit

HI Kam that's why I so glad I chopped my front end off I don't now how you manage with yours. I am thinking of squeezing a turbo on the front of this one day but that's just one big day dream at the moment Mabie I will have to go clubby front that but I now there are turbo minis out there with standerd length fronts

Hell yeah sister! when that front ends on you can see why people go clubby front!

Top work

Your cracking on well! I'm tempted to go back to steel front - Not happy with the fitment of my FG front - We'll see! Wheres your front end from? The fitment looks perfect!

I think my front end is arc angels i got it brand new but second hand it does fit well but i still have around the scuttle panel to trim as it over laps. I would prefer a steel front end but i have had so much drama with the panels that are available today they just dont fit if your going to go steel front buy top notch panels and save your self some work
