Please Help No Log Book Or Vin Number For My 1275 Gt And Its Nowhere To Be Seen On The Car.

Hi superman yeah its defo the right number plate its quite strange a few hpi reports couldnt find any details on it but the aa hpi did have all the details on it and they were right but u would think the dvla web would have details on it

I feel as if i am in the same situation as you at the moment i have just bought a 1979 1275 gt, and can not find anything on the dvla website or when doing a hpi check, any advice?

You dont know if its been registered as scrap at any point do you? That would explain why theres no record of it on any DVLA computer/HPI check etc. I doubt its the amount of time its been of the road for, one of my mates has one thats been off the road since 1984 and the details still show up when the numberplate is typed into the vehicle enquiry thing. Its not the end of the world if it has been registered as scrap, Im fairly certain you can get a new identity.

That might be because someone has regularly sorn'ed the car. If not they drop of radar.

Really? Ive scrapped 4 or 5 cars and within a month of me scrapping them the details were wiped from the database... Ignore my above post if Im wrong though!
