And they didn't bother with the stupid back seats in the sport, they were a waste of time anyway!

go for a jag like anon said :-) if you feel you cant pose in it im sure theres mods you can do to it to make it your own style like a mini :-)

lotus elise is a brilliant car but its a ******* to get in and out of and it needs extra padding on the seats cus it will disintegrate your spine after a while

i personally wouldnt get a porsche unless it was a classic cus i just feel theyre too common and bland and it just doesnt appeal to me at all

the honda s2000 is a fantastic looking car but i dont know anything else about them except that i would like one :-)

I wasn't too hooked on the idea of a Porsche, but the thought of owning a 911 at 22 yrs old is tickling me a bit to say the least. Looks like I might be able to up the budget to around the £12k mark now which would be cracking but that would mean I would be skint as for basically the rest of forever and ever.

Other than the 911's which come with their issues like the expensive bills etc etc, the cars which are standing out to me at the moment are the 350z, TVR Chimaera and the S2000.

We'll see come April what I go for. Will let you all know obviously.

I ran an S2000 as my everyday car for 5 years.
It had a lot of Mugen bits in the end, I do wish I still had it. We absolutely loved that car. Gave me a sub 9 minuite lap of the ring as well (I had an NSX as a pace car). I would have another in a shot if the family didn't get in the way!

Boxsters seem to be the car of owners that just want the badge!

How about a Z3M (odd looks but go like stink) or a Z4M???

You can have my 02 Laguna Blue E46 M3 for 10k ish... Its up for sale for that ;)

another good reason to have a jag, turn the volume up.
and just think, that's what a boring four door car sounds like ;-)

Z3M - odd looks put me off, regardless of performance.
Z4M - out of my price range at the moment.
I'll pass on the E46 thanks, never have been my cup of tea...

S2000 is definitely tempting - this is going to sound really gay, but one of the things which puts me slightly off is the lack of a good sound system - or feasibility to build one (though your photos do tell a different story Ruckus)

That is true however of the boxster and TVR's too though so the argument is somewhat flawed. haha

Well the doors well take a 6.5" mid no problem, and if you do get one I still have the leather trimmed A-Pillar builds which will hold a large tweeter. And for a small cost there yours ;)

The spare wheel is a pointless space saver so lose that and a you can install a low profile sub/box or an amp in there.

And for its size the S has a very big boot.

The S is such a cool car.

2 litre normally aspirated V-tec straight 4, 240bhp! Meaning 120bhp per litre... Only Ferrari does non blowed motors with that sort of output per litre. AND
No Traction control!

And Don't even get me started on how good the gearbox it!

How about a vx220? My mate has a turbo one which cost him about 12 grand. But I'm sure you could find a non turbo for less. He's 21 and it cost him £1100 to insure. Its an insane car!

Well yes if im honest. Having driven a mini since I passed my test I want something thats relatively compact too. Living in London, its also handy for a smaller car.

I have thought about a VX220 turbo, they're available from about the £10k mark, but its the same story as the Elise to me. Just a bit too much of a specialist weekend car for me. The seats have about as much padding as a park bench and again, its stlying at the moment 'just isnt me' lol
