This is a project thread for my neighbor.
Ive been asked to do a complete rebuild on the bodywork as the car has reached the stage of almost falling apart.
The previous owner had done the classic filler job to hide all holes.
The car has also been over-silled and the wings had been replaced poorly by braising :/

The stage its at right now is it has been transported to my unit and the car had been stripped of most things and engine removed along with both subframes.

This project is being done at the same time as my own mini.

so far i have repaired the side by the rear left arch, rear left window and the patch in the rear window.
as the rear valance isnt avaliable unless you want to pay 270 i thought the easiest and cheapest way was to repair the one i had.

surely instead of paying £270 for a rear valance, couldn't you just get a van/estate 3 piece rear valance and weld them together, grind off the seams and hey presto... 1 piece rear valance?

They aren't the same but do fit.

When I entered mine in concourse(honestly!!) The judge told me mine was a modded van/pick up panel.
