Have to say, I'd love to build one up. Just wish it was British.

I know it's not a real moke and wouldn't call it one either, but I'm sure it could still be some damn good fun, and isn't that what the mini's all about? :D

i like the idea of them but what are they called? because surely if they call them mokes or minis they are breaking some trading law as BMW own them names now. i even think BINI were planning a Moke? or did i just make that up in my mind, im sure i read somthing

I dont think i would want to own one because of the cheap Chinese build quality if its anythink like chinky chrome its no good!!

Have a look at this its a Chinas ripoff version of a BMW MINI !

I beleive they call them Ming Mokes and register them as Austin mini's

Well they are as much a moke as any kit car calling themselves a cobra or something similar. I just consider them a kit car. It's a replica nothing more.

LOL build quality? define build quality? because i dont think you ca get a car that rusts much faster than a British Mini

Hmm, that looks more like the mini Beach cars then a moke though... granted BMW tends to add the classic names somewhat randomly...

I heard that a Chinese company actually own the rights to the original mini read this in mini world recently.

But they have no plans to reproduce the car :(
