Haha! I do like it when threads turn into this, just goes to show there are so many idiots or people that like spitting their dummies out on here now.

One word comes to mind. I couldn't possibly say it on here, but to give a clue, it begins with 'W' and ends in 'anchor'.

this is all very funny, hurhur, im ranting on about people who take everything so seriously and tell other mini owners what they should do with there mini when there just asking for abit of advice maybe on something, and whats right/wrong, and when people report people when something isnt 100% correct, especialy when thats not what the threads about, so there you go, it might make a little more sense now :)

OK, you should expect to pay in the region of £100 to bore =0.060" to get to 1330 cc.
Best pistons are P21253-60 and compression ratio should be around 10:1. You might need to have the head skimmed, so allow about £30 for that.

it will be about £80-£120 depending on where you go. If you want to go to 1380 then go to 1380. Dont let people on here make you feel bad about ruining the supply of the A series engine. Its your money, your block and your engine.

I did a 1330 a while ago with a 276 cam, Rob Walker head, 10.6:1 comp ratio, twin 1,5" SU's, etc., and it gave just over 90 bhp at the flywheel at 5800 rpm. It went very well.
For a road car with high-ish gearing the MG Metro or Kent 266 cam (they are very similar) are both excellent.

We have some very intelligent, likeable and capable young owners on here, but then we get this 'pillock'.
Perhaps he might like to go away and come back when he's grown up a bit.
