He said that his comment was more mature than anything I've ever posted.
Ok, that's fine then. 17 years old and knows every-bloody-thing!
That's not a criticism of youth, as anyone who knows me will realise how I love to help and encourage young people.

i lol at your ignorance, i did not accuse you of calling me names, and i do not think i know everything, ino lots of people who think the same, my first comment is mearly a little rant against people on tmf who think that everything must be done by the book and that people dont answer peoples questions and go on about something else, this thread was a prime example.

Give it a rest. Your first comment barely made any sense and your "jokes" didn't come across as such, they just appeared insulting to very experienced people who were giving very sound advice.

Get over it and grow up. There's nothing to win in an online argument, which chances are you won't win.

Everyone finished?

Right Bugs42 Ive had enough of this....Here is the PM you sent to me,

my point was what i explained in the thread, im not a '*******' just thought id make a point, its not everyone on here but some people boil my piss :)

I did not call you whatever the "********" means. yet still you send me this message...If you did not mean to start an argument then why be so aggressive with your posts...This is generaly a friendly forum with some really nice people who are trying to help other Mini owners...and posting that you will come round and "shoot you in the face" is not exactly friendly.

I realy wish this kind of petty nonsence could be avoided on TMF.. Im honestly starting to wonder if its worth the effort being on here.

I opened this thread as I too am about to get some machining work done on my 1275 engine.

I find it quite amazing that someone places a post asking what seems to be a perfectly valid question, and whilst some have offered an answer to the original question with additional good advice, the majority is 4 pages of argument. Strange !!

I have a Minisport price list (opens another can of worms no doubt), although it is year out of date now, but should give a good indication. As far as I can tell, all include vat.

I hope this helps

Rebore 4 Cyl block £53.79

Overbore 4 cyl block £68.46

Face head / block to 30 thou £29.31

Regrind 7 journal crankshaft £36.17

Full balance 4 cyl £58.67

Supply / fit cam bearings £38.12

Regards

Steve

For Christs sake what an utter mess this thread is.

Really, was there any need to drag a genuine question down to gutter level?

I'm on my phone at the mo so cant tidy this up at the moment.

Rest assured that I will do so later and will also,be taking a close look at how certain people have behaved as well.

Apologies to the op, and a standard review should be around the £100 mark or £25 a bore
