I've ordered a pair from Mini Spares. My son is very precious to me; don't want anything to break!!!
Just going back to the tracking; will it need to be reset by a tyre fitters?
Cheers

if the wheels look straight it should be fine.
The Tie Rods effect the castor angles of the wheels not the tracking (toe in/out), that's done by adjusting the length in the steering arms.
If it does look a bit out, its a pretty easy job just to wind them in or out.

Everything on the suspension geometry alters each other, camber alters tracking and caster, caster alter tracking and camber, etc, personally I would get the tracking checked.

Changing the tie rods, or even renewing worn bushes, will change the toe slightly, but its main effect is on castor, followed by camber. Changing the lower arms or their bushes will affect camber and toe, but not so much effect on castor. The upper arm mostly affects camber, unless it is bent, which will also affect castor, but only slightly affects toe.
After changing only tie rods it will be close enough to drive somewhere to get the tracking done.
