I normally place my maximum bid in the last 5 seconds. I either get it or I don't
I hate it when i do that, the bid doesn't go up as much as i anticipated and think i've got a good bargain, then about 4 other bidders bid it up more, i still win but am disappointed haha

If i want to bid around £10, i will put £10.01, then think, no someone else will have done that so change to £10.04. Then think 'what if someone has put £10.11', so change it to £10.15, hmmmmm.... no, i will put a higher bid.....oh the times run out sh*t, should have planned better!!

Thats exactly what I do....
Hmmmm wont put 11p on the end too easy, I'l do 37p, ermmmm but someone may go in 50p's.... I'l go add 62p.... ahhhhhhh but someone may go 99p.....I'l go up another pound and do 53p on top

I confuse myself

A little tip as well - if you want something, try spelling it wrongly. Some people put something on, spell it wrong and as a result it gets no interest.
A good tip! My sister does this and does very well from it.

I am more of a buy it now person, I'll look through all of the auctions and then decide i cant be bothered to wait 3 days for it to end becuase i want it this weekend haha. So i will do a buy it now for £20 when i could bid for it with someone else and win it closer to 99p :/

Usually I'll bid in the last 5 seconds, with the highest I'd possibly be willing to pay for the item. If I still don't win it them it's sold for more then I'd pay for it.
I like to put an odd number in for pence, like 66p or 77p, to try and outbid anyone who's put the pence as 0.

how do you use or get the raptor thingy ?I'm lazy - I use Auction Raptor which bids for me in the last few seconds. It was worked well for me over the two or three years I've used it and means that I don't forget to bid and also stops others bidding up against me before the end of the listing.
sorry for being a noob by the way

Here you go. https://www.auctionraptor.com/ It costs something like £3.50 per month for as many bids as you want, but I save more than that by using it. I think you can get a free trial - you used to be able to.

How much?

Ebay bidding should be an Olympic sport, good exercise jumping up and down, good for circulation when you smack your head on the table
Healthy living and all that...get bidding ya lazy lot!
