the second on the list

Last minute thrill seeker....10 seconds to go BID BID BIDDDDDDDDDD followed by heart palpitations, loss of breath and dizzyness (the bidding equivalent of extreme sports)

if i loose out by 50p then it was more than i wanted to pay anyway

Half the reason I shop on Ebay is for the excitement of last second bidding! :w00t:

I normally place my maximum bid in the last 5 seconds. I either get it or I don't

I hate it when i do that, the bid doesn't go up as much as i anticipated and think i've got a good bargain, then about 4 other bidders bid it up more, i still win but am disappointed haha O_O O_O

That happens a lot, recently bid on a walnut dash that went from £40 to £85 in the last few seconds >_<

A little tip as well - if you want something, try spelling it wrongly. Some people put something on, spell it wrong and as a result it gets no interest.

Great site for searching out those eBay typos! :D

Weekend beer drinking + ebay trawling is dangerous. I can honestly convince myself that I NEED something so badly I dont know how I managed to live without it before :ohno:

Someone should make an Ebay breathalyzer that you can plug in at weekends and if 'half past the barrel' it stops you bidding

I'l invent one :shifty: ..

Place the bid in the last 10 seconds, then confirm with 3 seconds to go.

Theres far too many 'last minute thrill seekers'

I'm seriously considering becoming a 'Premature Bid Clicker'

If I am intrested in something I will put a low bid on it to remind me I want it. If I'm not going to be able to bid at the end I put my maximum bid on. If I'm online at the end I still put my max bid on. Sometimes I will check the level of an existing bid an hour before the end by put the next bid increament on. It puts the price up so other bidders may get put off, and also I get to see if the other bidder is online.

I also bid stuff up that I notice someone has put multiple bids on in the hope that they will put people off bidding.
