Last minute thrill seeker....10 seconds to go BID BID BIDDDDDDDDDD followed by heart palpitations, loss of breath and dizzyness (the bidding equivalent of extreme sports)
if i loose out by 50p then it was more than i wanted to pay anyway

I normally place my maximum bid in the last 5 seconds. I either get it or I don't
I hate it when i do that, the bid doesn't go up as much as i anticipated and think i've got a good bargain, then about 4 other bidders bid it up more, i still win but am disappointed haha![]()
That happens a lot, recently bid on a walnut dash that went from £40 to £85 in the last few seconds

A little tip as well - if you want something, try spelling it wrongly. Some people put something on, spell it wrong and as a result it gets no interest.
Great site for searching out those eBay typos!

Someone should make an Ebay breathalyzer that you can plug in at weekends and if 'half past the barrel' it stops you bidding
I'l invent one

I also bid stuff up that I notice someone has put multiple bids on in the hope that they will put people off bidding.
