I think, seeing as it is a rollup window shell it will be easier to raise the window frame in the mk1 doors to match the top of your door openings then to lower everything to match a mk1.

I never realised they changed the shell that much when they went to mk3! If it helps (and you really want to go Sticok mk1/2) garry has got teh roof with the pillars from the mk2 as well so you could take out the sections out and fully convert your shell. He didn't get around to chopping up the remains though at the weekend :dozing:

It is the roof off of the mk2, so that with the B posts would give you all that you need. I don't think he'd want to chop the roof down any further, but will point him this way again :P

once the other pictures are up il PM you to get details on how to come pick them up, payment etc. :D

The roof is in really good condition, along with the gutters and the drip rails

the bottom of the car was non-existent, it could have been done, but would be major so its been cut up and all the useful bits salvaged, better this way than straight to the scrappie, as craig says the roof is in good condition mainly due to the quality and thickness of the steel on earlier minis before BL came along and made them from wrapping paper :)

will get some more pics up tomorrow for you

As Gaz said, it was do-able, but very ripe (needed a full floor, rear 1/4's, rear arches, lower back panel/valance, front end). Would have been good fun, but needed to move it on (haven't the time or money to do it)

That's lots of work.
Is this for a mk1 replica or reshell? If you want to go to that extent you are aware of the other changes in the shells?

If not you could always add some stick on hinges and sliding windows!!
