I bet if you knew her personally, you'd be saying completely different things.
I reckon she's probably a nice lady.
Everyone's just havin' a good time moaning about her drug addiction, when that's really not what we should be remembering about her.
I'm not too bothered about it all to be honest.

Lets face it though.. everyone's just talking about drugs in relation to her death.

Well she may have been a nice person BUT doing drugs is a terrible thing, it causes alot of harm and suffering to people. Drug Lords are funded by people who buy Drugs. these people in turn use this money to buy Arms and have Private Armies and in some cases bring countries to the brink of Civil war. People are forced into slavery to grow harvest and make these Drugs. All Because someone a million Miles away wants to have a good time.
got to look at the bigger picture.
if i knew her personally i would of told her to kick the habbit or lose my friendship its as Simple as that.

That's just stupid. These people are not in the public eye which is why there death goes unannounced in the national amd world press.

agreed if you do drugs what do you expect. much more decent people die everyday but you don't see them on the news.
I know that drugs are bad, and yes it can affect lives. And yes it funds criminals the other side of the world. BUT have any of you ever bought a music album? Who was it for? Everyone is happy to listen to the music and buy the CDs, and basically funding the habit as without the sales, they wouldn't have the cash. And without becoming famous they may never have been in the same social circles to allow them to take the drugs. You can never say they would or wouldn't have taken the drugs had she not been famous.
There are a number of artists throughout the years who have openly admitted they wrote some of their best stuff while high on drugs. Look the Chili Peppers. Oasis. Nirvana, Guns & Roses.
Drugs exist, and people will always take them, there is no way in the world to stop that. Therefore, would you rather rich people like her take them who can afford them, or people that have no money and resort to stealing your stuff to fund their habit? I know what I would prefer. The fact is both exist and you will never change that.
I'm not suggesting everyone should suddenly be pro drugs etc, but I think there are far too many people who just jump straight on the drugs are bad band wagon. Just think about what album you are buying and whose drug habit you are funding next time you buy an album or DVD.
Personally, I think in general there is usually a bit of an over reaction by the public when a celebrity dies and everyone is quick enough to find fault with them. I'm not particularly bothered by her death, as I didn't know her and not a particular fan of her music (although my mum listened to her a lot when I was growing up). For her fans, family & friends it is no doubt a sad time.

So what your saying is one rule for the rich another for the poor? LOL its not the middle ages mate.

just because people are always going to do it, Does not make it right in anyway a comment like that is daft, so its okay to get high to write music? because it makes it better? well i wager Artist have come up with more 'crap' songs than good songs when wasted, i bet once they sober up they look at stuff they wrote while being half baked and think what the hell is this? and throw it away.
there will always be people who do drugs Rich or Not its wrong, and if you die Because of them. i stand by that comment i have no sympathy

LOL Open your eyes buddy, there are separate rules for the rich and the poor everywhere!
but I don't think that's what he is saying at all. He was not separating the rich from the poor and giving them different excuses. He's saying think of the good drugs done, and he would rather see that happen than to see crackheads steal to feed their addiction, not that he is pro drugs for the rich or anything.
And I don't think her music really necessitate drugs..... maybe a bottle of wine and some scented candles.
I agree, I have no sympathy for those who die of drugs or drunk driving, or those who live a sober life and die in a chair while watching TV.
