The car is inspected by the buyer at this stage to discuss the finer points of the build and then we start the real fun on Monday!

How does it work with the V5, do you use the existing V5 from the shell and then change the details to match the "new" car?

This is a great route for people to take because you get a fully rebuilt mini that is exactly how you want it, at a surprisingly low price!
The V5 from the base car is used as we use the shell and running gear so the car is entitled to its original identity.

The front panel is in a sorry state so that will be changed and then it will go off for it's shiny new spray job! Once it is back from spray it will move surprisingly quickly as we already have most of the stuff that's going to go back on!
(quick note, the buyer is now going for 13x7 starmags so this will be a very tasty car once finished!)

Shocks and front discs and pads will be done tomorrow and we have sourced a great pair of seats for it. Headlining is sorted, a retro retrims job which will be fitted after spray.
Coming along very nicely, just struggling to get a booking with the sprayer because he is so busy but we will get everything else ready so once it's sprayed it's just bolting it back together.
