Picture of the Starmag's, They just need a quick dusting off and polish as they've been sat for a while, 4 extremely good tyres on there too!

How come you only fitted the end of the outer sill, which looks like to be the oversill type?

Because that's the only small piece that needed changing, and I had an extended/oversill to hand. Somebody had previously bent it somehow and it looked crappy. The rest of it is fine, so didn't see the point in changing the whole lot. It'll never be noticed, and it has been cut out and replaced with a section of sill, rather than the usual 'oversill' bodge. And why pay £30 for a genuine sill when you can buy an extended/oversill for about £7!

New brake discs, new pads, new retaining clips & pins, new dampers, new tie rods & bushes!

New wheels on the car, need to get the hi-los fitted and alter the ride height a bit (no engine in yet anyway) and the arches placed on so you can see what they look like! The wheels fill the arches out perfectly, me and James were both very pleased about it!

There were a few people around the garage today and a couple commented on how nice the starmag's are on the car. Very pleased indeed!

Because oversills are a botch?

Only if you fit them that way. There's absolutely no problem in fitting them as an outer sill rather than to cover up rust. A lot of people buy oversills and cut the excess off to use as a normal length sill!

whats going on with the drivers side door step, appears bent or missing in the middle section?

so this isnt a full resto, but more like a refresh tidy up build?

Needs a small piece welding in there, we missed it when the welder was in! Car was up in the air on the ramp so didn't spot it. It'll get sorted.
Pretty much Jordie, sourced a good complete rolling shell, stripped down, repaired any bits that need attention, paint, interior, service parts, mechanicals, wheels, everything as specced by the customer with a few added extras. A complete shakedown and revamp of a sorn'd car :)

Nice with the starmag on! Indeed the middle side door step needs some welding, any pics once done would be great!

It will look awesome once painted, can't wait!
