Took about 30 seconds with a few pence worth of tape and a blade
NB Like all advice on here, you need to confirm for yourself, on your lights, that this cuts the (nearside in UK) problem bit of dipped beam off. I use a white garage door for this purpose
Minder - those yellow things just change the colour of the beam I think. France did away with yellow headlights 10+ years ago.

do these count??
No, all the yellow covers do is to reduce the amount of light, not the direction of the light beams. The French went away from their silly yelow lights many years ago. They used to be paranoid about it and when we went rallying in France with our 'legal for us' white lights it really used to p**s them right off - hooray!
They used to say that the yellow reduced dazzle. Of course it does as it reduces the amount of light. Less light = less dazzle, 'simples'.

They're better in fog though but by not a lot.....
Again they only appear to give less back glare in fog because they give less light.
Yellow lights were only introduced in France so that at night the Germans could differentiate between German occupation forces vehicles and French vehicles during WW2. There is nothing in the 'yellow' light spectrum which means it can penetrate thick fog better than white light.

Slightly off topic, but I do love the way that our general contempt toward the French is so widespread, that it's just considered part of being British!!....The only thing that's even more widespread, is their utter dislike for us!!.
...Now if you don't mind, I have a small doll wearing a blue & white stripy jumper and a beret, that I need to go and stick some pins in!!

That was after they 'disqualified' our Minis and Cortinas on the 1966 Monte-Carlo Rally.

" I despise racism in all it's forms.... apart from toward the French though, because they're just fair game!"

Hmmmm.. Like someone who I can't actually remember famously once said....
" I despise racism in all it's forms.... apart from toward the French though, because they're just fair game!"
However, I have a son and daughter-in-law who live in France and now have 2 Anglo-French grandchildren with dual nationality and, eventually, bi-linguality.
