Quick update:
Literally nothing has changed on the car! I've taken it up the road and back a few times over last couple of years to keep it all running smoothly, but I've been distracted by the new friend I bought him to keep him company:
Other than that Lenny hasn't seen daylight, just stored in the same dry garage space.
So... it's time to sell up to make way for new toys!

How did you find the mirrors, did they vibrate at all? I had similar ones and found they vibrated at the ball joint a bit too much. Need some more, but don't want the same problem.
Cheers

You'll regret selling that, I speak from experience. One day you'll decide to get another, but it won't be quite the same.

I'd love to argue against that but I know you're right, I just need the garage space to work on a new project! It does put me in the nice position of being in no rush to sell though, so I don't have to let it go for pennies
With the mirrors, I got them from Demon Tweeks and there's no vibration at all. They did use to fold in at high speed (mini high speed = 50+mph!) but a tighten of the allen bolts inside them solved that

Great build man! I'm also building a debumpered mini. I was wondering how you originally mounted your foglight? Was it to the subframe or the valance? I see you removed it eventually anyway. Was it catching on speedbumps etc?

Thanks! I mounted to the boot floor on an L-shaped bracket, two bolts through the floor held it there. Obviously smother it in vaseline to stop corrosion of the floor.
There wasn't any problem with it catching as the exhaust (and I think maybe even the battery box) was lower to the floor, they just look dog ugly!
