**"The East of England is one of the nine official regions of England. It was created in 1994 and was adopted for statistics from 1999. It includes the ceremonial counties of Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Essex has the highest population in the region. Before the creation of the East of England region there had been a smaller standard statistical region of East Anglia which did not include Essex,Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire. They had previously been included in the South East region"

to be honest, I've been looking into the regional sections and how they are split for a while now, but I was kinda waiting until the show season started as I figured that more of the regional posts would kick off around show season.

I guess no movement on the issue? Would be nice to get some East Anglian runs together
Ahem!!!.......... that would be "East of Englandian" in fact!!
Besides we don't need actually a formal section, if you want to organise something just start a thread suggesting it and see what happens...

See, mr AVV IT, it is East Anglia
No actually it's "East of England", it's just that a few people here clearly think it's still 1994......... which to be fair it probably is, if you're from Norfolk!!

Then it's a good thing I was born in Hampton and it is an "Independent City" so I'm not from Norfolk or Suffolk but that's Virginia for you
