There are quite a few of these topics on here now - But I can't keep up with it all and I'm getting desperate!
I've been slaving away working non-stop in order to get my mini - Now I've got him, I'm struggling to find insurance cheap enough, and now footman James have turned against us young drivers there doesn't seem like there's many options.

If anybody has found any young Mini enthusiast friendly insurance companies or a loop hole somewhere - the thought of selling up and getting one of your average shopping trolleys is painful, I know it's not going to be cheap, but the quotes I'm coming up with are ludicrous!

Just went for an online quote, I'm getting around the £2,800 mark! With one additional driver - I've got the 94' 1.3 model but there's not much difference between the engine sizes and the price of the quote - I'm obviously doing something wrong!
Thanks for the suggestion mind! :) I'm determined.

Yeah ring them up :) My quotes lower than most as my house is around 10 miles from anywhere, I suppose it makes quite a difference.

I might have to give a few of these a try also if the insurer I'm with decides to do the same. Best be cheaper than 1400 or I'm screwed! Only a 998 too.

£1500 is my goal, Going to give Aviva a go tomorrow. I've also seen Lancaster insurance pop up a few times before, heard they can be quite Mini friendly :-)
