My mini had a 998 and the previous owner changed it for a 1275, both carb engines but is it possible to have a 998 gearbox attached to a 1275 as I'm at 55 mph at 3000 revs ?
I know this can be done in other cars such as 106 gti's running 1.3 rallye gearboxes but wasn't sure in minis ?

hahaha, this is my favourite!Did 180 in this, stage 3 haircut and a fully worked MED moustache
my mk1 850 managed 85mph on a 47 year old speedo haha (well out of the space-time continuum i'd say!)
850cc mini's have a unique character of their own, and that is what the original mini was all about!
