because the K&N makes an annoying noise, and is making it run a little rich too :)

Much better off with a stock filter; that's what the engine was designed for ^^

Fair enough, have you got a stage one kit fitted?

So this happened:

"Brakes locked because of wetness, lost brake pressure so couldn't brake hard enough, didn't lose enough speed, understeered into a kerb. Whole front end has shifted sideways 2 inches, body is warped at the front, passenger side door won't shut properly, subframe creased at floorpan mounts, bulkhead creased close to passenger side floorpan, windscreen cracked, which means warping has gone further than just the front end. Wheel has a chunk out of it but hubs etc are in perfect condition" - Description I put on the FB photo I put up.

Undecided what I'm going to do with it yet

None of these photos really show just how distorted the front of the shell is, but it's cracked along nearly all of the seams too. It's definitely a write off, no doubt. :(

This kinda shows it at its worst though:

Bad times on the bent front! have you declared the crash ? if not then with careful unpicking of the front end you could correct all the damage
