Morrisons dirty petrol has caused my car to start pinking slightly...

I am going to start using some better quality stuff and throw some redex in there for the first few tanks...

What fuel do you use? and what is the best?

Morrisons dirty petrol? I filled up there yesterday >_<

I normally use just BP's normal unleaded, never had any problems with it :D

Yeah Colin at Southam Mini's told me my mini is pinking because of the poor fuel, then I realised it was morrisons and I have read it happening to other people to. So I will either go to BP or Shell. Are we talking basic or high octane?

At home I usually use texaco / morrisons, but ive noticed a massive difference in the responsiveness when using normal shell, so when I can, I get that

Last time I fill up at Morrisons, I'm too much of a tight b**tard to use super unleaded, a 998 mini isn't powerful enough to notice the difference and it wasn't available when it was built! So basic BP I'll stick to :D

I always used optimax in my mini. Slightly more expensive, but returned better mpg and results on the dyno.
