Did you get the right type of coild for the car?

Ballast or non-ballast


Yeah I got the right one tried using the new and old one same problem

Yep they were all set up

Its really doing my head in I dont really want to have to take the engine out. And now the engine wont even start, the starter motor kicks in but then cuts out

What is the battery condition. Standing As well as cranking power ? What happend if you remove the spark plugs & turn the engine over. Does it still cut out ?

So now a full engine rebuild is going to have to be done, W e have stripped it all down and put in a few new parts

New valves
New oil seat covers
All new gaskets all round
All new bolts
New crackshaft bearings
New piston bearings
New water pump
New hoses
New clutch kit (might aswell since we have stripped it lol)
All new sensor switches
Repainting the engine from red to a new colour
Repainting the engine bay

We repainted the engine bay from blue to white, As we think it looks better with the red. We painted the engine bay blue as the car was going to be candy blue but then at the last moment it was changed to candy red lol
