Yep
I've had mine for 2 years now only broken down once.
split water pipe
silicons worthwhile because of turbo temps, or a least new rubber hoses
been off the road recenty for a new head and a bit of a tidy up after it starting to smoke a lot.
old head was knackered. was still the original head mind you.
They need looking after but doesn't any tuned ASeries.
Just have to be careful, too much boost and not set up properly and she'll pop!!!

I'm in the process of building one but using a specially sealed weber instead of the SU.

The lotus esprit turbo carb may be suitable (delorto i think )as they are a blow through carb .

Yes the Dellorto 40 from the Lotus Esprit is suitable Janspeed used them a long time ago on their Turbo A-Series engines.

In effect, the Dellorto and the Weber are the same, kind of.

4 bolt centre strapped, s/c box (s ratio)

im planning on building a turbo engine over the winter, brought a metro turbo engine of ebay for £75, didnt include the head or ancillaries but its a good place to start from.
And turbo phil, i may well be contacting you for some cylinder head work in a few months my mate Ian W said you were the person to get hold off.
