i finished the fillerwork the other day and dragged it out of the back garden because i was fed up with driving my bike in rain.

Today i got it all prepped up and high build primed in the booth at college i forgot how much painting roofs hurts your arm! omg!

Once this had gone off i drove home and stuck some guide coat on gave it another hour or so to set and began to flat it down now its all nice and smooth! ready for black and clear coat tomorrow morning!

I will get some pics up 2morro night once i have painted the roof ! cheers guys!

yeh the booth at college is pretty good only stays clean as we have to rub down the walls and re paint with the tacky coating! + change the filters
Didn't get time to paint the roof today as someone else was in the booth so rubbed my wheel arches down and high build primered them at home. Need to re-do the bonnet next once the roof and arches are in black.

I Will hopefully get these rubbed down and in black tomorrow along with the roof

Anyway wish me luck!

yeah they are doing our booth next week, thankfully we arnt doing it just the tech guys
and sounds black areas, how about one of those Zip swage lines and have it look like its green but unzipped black, if that makes sence?
yeh that sounds cool i wonder if roofless does any vinyls like that? hmmmm
UPDATE
got the roof painted ! i dont know why the laptop keeps putting lines on the pics aswell its annoying
This is before i left for college put the primed arches on

black base coat on

clear coat pics

Then put the booth on bake. This wasn't good as it caused the clear coat to 'drop' basically it lost some of its gloss so i will need to polish it back up later on. so here it is de-masked.

I will get some better pictures after some polishing later on. Arches and bonnet are next then mk1 rear lights floor and sill repairs! great fun!
