Thanks again chaps, good to get some real world impressions.

I'll be going with a twin box system, if it turns out I want a bit more noise I'll buy a straight replacement pipe. On checking Maniflow, they're £20 so that's removed any economy concerns.

Thanks again!
Now to get hold of Mini its and see if they can hook me up. Do we get a discount with them by the way? ;D

I have a single box centre, lovely burble on idle and nice sound when driving but sounds lovely when you give it some.

The carpet is actually hiding all the work on keeping him quiet, which makes it very comfy. I'll let you sit on it sometime.

Once we stop the steering wheel turning the engine instead of the wheels, then you can an RC40.

Speaking of which, I have a pile of bits here for you.

Dammit guys, now I'm wondering if I should just go single box and relish in the sounds... I do have a stereo if I don't like it and the induction noise is pretty apparent already. Hmm...

I could also justify that It makes speed bumps easier. >_<

Liking the different clips coming in, helps build up a better picture. In reality I can't imagine it's a world of difference either way but forwarned and all that.

As you say, Miniman. The intake is more obtrusive than the exhaust, mainly I don't want to sound like kn*b going down the road with a raging exhaust and only 85bhp behind it
Could tint my windows I guess...

t@z, that doesn't sound ott at all. Before I fit the RC40 I had a centre exit race system on the car too (both were free) and that was a bit boomy. Although I had no sound proofing or carpet at that point either.

I hear they add bhp and reduce the drag coefficient significantly!
