I have furry dice in the rear window so i'm ok

I hear they add bhp and reduce the drag coefficient significantly!

THats ok, i painted my calipers & drums red to cope with the extra bhp ;D

t@z, that doesn't sound ott at all. Before I fit the RC40 I had a centre exit race system on the car too (both were free) and that was a bit boomy. Although I had no sound proofing or carpet at that point either.

mine was with no sound proofing and i didnt find it to bac, probably couldnt listen music easily but thats what i have headphones for :P

I've got a maniflow single box stainless system, it's 95 db @ 4000 rpm on a 1293 (MSA Noise testing)

How is it at 'in town' levels, top gear lower rpm? Also how is it within the car, does it get tiring to listen to after a while?

Don't suppose you have a video? :gimme:

No sorry, the exhaust gets drowned out by the straight cut gears around town!, but it gets driven 2 to 3 hours to the hil climbs without a problem, guess it all depends on how much noise you think is too much, don't forget on the db scale 93 will be much quieter than 95 as it uses a multiplication factor

You mean its a log scale.

Yes its a log scale, but this isn't a maths forum, I was just pointing out that db noise levels increase very quickly, 95 is not just a little bit louder than 93, it's a lot louder, examples below :)

On the decibel scale, the smallest audible sound (near total silence) is 0 dB. A sound 10 times more powerful is 10 dB. A sound 100 times more powerful than near total silence is 20 dB. A sound 1,000 times more powerful than near total silence is 30 dB.
