1989 thirty - 106500 miles this is genuine mileage but the engine has been replaced at some point but now i have rebuilt it so total new mileage at the minute is a grand total of 1 mile

1996 SPI done 86650 miles my first year of owning the car i did 9k so its going to creep up fast! and everythings still in good order apart from the engine mount on the drivers side! which isn't connected to anything

Plus, my insurance requires me to keep it under 5000km/year and not allowed to drive it to work.

Sounds quite odd, i'd give another read at the conditions, i've got historic insurance for the rally car and its clearly explained that you're allowed to drive the car to work, but you cannot use the car for work (they state 'professional use'..but who will work as courier with a 30 yrs old car??).

Not odd at all, some people don't have their policies marked as "social, domestic, pleasure and commuting"

Had a clock change at a garage by previous owner and yes i do have proof
