93k on the clock + gone 'round once + about 10-15k more for when the speedo didn't work for a year or two so about 200-205k -ish


Sweet bejesus that's a lot of miles! Many engine or gearbox rebuilds in this time?

a few - 3 engines (2 blocks + 1 rebuilds, last one about 8k ago), 1 'box + 1 rebuild, 1 turbo, again about 8k ago (1st one lasted about 200k!!).
Body wise one very major rebuild 2002 by the very excellent folk at Somerford, which meant I didn't touch it again until last year when it had a minor body job (odd blobs here & there, one door skin etc...so looking good at the mo..

'98 Cooper MPi, well over 110,000 miles and still going strong lol. Was a great day when it went 99,999 then back to zero, felt like a new car again!
