The corsa c ones have been widely used.
A few how too guides have been on here over the years. Seems quite common with peeps doing engine conversions so have a look through those threads

you will need a
CORSA / COMBO ELECTRIC POWER STEERING COLUMN EPS AND CONTROL MODULE from same vehicle and one of these to control the speed sensor.

than you will need to do a small bit of fabrication and there you go.
powersteering in a mini. or any vehicle you want to install it in really

Wouldn't going to the gym be easier?
Sorry had to be said.

I have heard of the corsa ones but always worried you would lose some of the feel through the wheel.
Although it would make parking easier

Try this link below for details on using the Vauxhall Corsa EPS Column in a Mini

FAQ - Mini Electric Power Steering:
http://www.16vminiclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16507

(Despite what some say it is possible to have good 'sporty' power steering with plenty of 'feel' in some modern cars..........for instance read any road test of a new MINI and the direct 'go kart' feel steering is praised for feedback. Rover designed the original Electro-Hydraulic ps system with the distinctive whine as fitted to R50/53 Mk1's and BMW replaced it with a fully electric ps column for the R56 Mk2).

I thought this too. Yeah, I agree that it would be great for parking but you would just loose that great sense of driving a mini.

the good thing about the kit about is you can turn it off when driving and on when parking so you get the best of both worlds.

i cant think of any advantages because the steering isn't that hard even when parking as long as you are moving a little bit, at work we have Bedfords MJ and that's a massive off road truck with no power steering and off road wheels and that's hard
