
In my opinion, it is a good example of the way society is sliding. I don't mean to generalise, but younger generations (assuming it was young people) seem to have a diminishing respect for heritage, history or sentiment. The fact that they would pick on older cars because they're easier to break into is despicable. Why weren't they taken to classic car shows as kids? If I was ever inclined to steal a car and torch it, I'd at least have the respect not to do it to a piece of living history!
Dunno what else to say. I've made myself more angry.
I sincerely hope something gets worked out to your satisfaction, or at least as much as you can get from the situation.
Maybe time we all stated putting alarms on out little magic boxes. Or keep an angry dog on the back seat.
