The shell is pretty solid, certainly in all the right places. There is rust, but it all looks to be easily treatable. The paint work is in a pretty sorry state to be honest - the roof isn't too bad but the whole car could do with a respray once the rust has been treated.
There is no tax or MOT on this car.
The car had been sat for a while, so I started to overhaul the front brakes but didn't really get very far. There is currently no castle nut on the driver's side driveshaft - the one I took off won't go back on. The outer wheel bearing has been removed as well. The result of this is that it can be pushed around but needs sorting before an MOT. I basically started to remove the hub to do the bearing, it started raining and I then went back to Germany. The result of this is the car can be pushed around, but the driver's front wheel is not secured so the car can't be towed - will need to be trailored away. The car will come with two complete front bearings.
The previous owner installed a couple of extra dials - a volt meter and a clock, both Smith's. They match the original dials as well. I didn't like the shiny look to the dash, so I removed it, took the plastic coating off, gave it a quick sand down and covered it in black wood paint. It looks ok, but won't be to everyone's taste.
The battery will need replacing.
The driver's door lock doesn't appear to work - but someone has fitted a Yale lock near the bottom of the door

It has no bumpers and no side trim now either.
Two of the tyres hold air, but the rest are knackered. The one on the spare wheel is different to the others, but as it is also knackered thats fairly irrelevant.
I did have the car running for a short period, and it drove. There was an electrical issue with the wipers not working - I have since changed the stalk but untested due to the battery not working.
The car will come with the original front seats, not the ones pictured (although they can be included for the right price).
I wish I had the money and space to get this sorted but being in Germany I just don't which really sucks.
The car is located in Ashford, Kent (about 5 mins from J9 of the M20) and will need to be trailored away.
I also have a manual engine for sale, and although not listed I have a manual gear selector mechanism and a clutch pedal that I could include for the right price if you wanted to convert it to a manual.
This car will also be on Ebay in the morning - I am putting loads of stuff on there. If you want to come and have a look, feel free (just send me a PM). I am not available until Wed afternoon though as I will be away.
I have the V5 and keys as well.
I paid 800 for this back in February, which I thought it was worth at the time. With hindsight that was probably too much so I'm asking 600 no offers. I'd rather keep it than sell it for less.
I secretly hope that no one wants it for this price and that I'll be forced to keep it and get it sorted. I just can't really afford it right now and it needs to go from my sister's drive within a week.
If someone wants the seats as well (genuine Cobra Classics with headrests which retail for 200 a pop new) I'll do it for 770. If someone wants the seats and engine (engine is located near Strood) I'll do the whole lot for 850, and chuck in the gear selector and pedal for free as well

I'm pretty sad right now
