I use my phones video camera on the windscreen mounted phone holder. It's not perfect, but if you have a phone with a decent camera then all you need is a holder, you can get them off amazon for £5-10

I picked up one of these after being recommended them on here. For the price you can't really go wrong. They aren't proper crap either. Actually half decent.
If you go for it, make sure you get yourself a decent microSD card or you'll suffer video quality issues.
