I would also use some deadening sheets on the MDF panels inside. it helps keep everything uber dead (= more bass).
And as much as you can do in the boot itself.

Right!

Made a little front parcel shelf.. 6mm MDF

And then got some 'L' brackets and bent them a bit to mount the dash too, sits lovely now

Posted Image

And then messed with the headunit and amp and got the speakers sounding shweeeeeet!

Phone mic cant handle it haha!

Posted Image

The left speaker doesnt have its tweeter connected yet but they still sound great just resting the pods.. will mount it all when I get back!

Mocked up the center console too and looks proper neat! Oop, and the boot kit! Started bringing all the wiring through to the boot for the AMP.. but stopped pretty soonish as I had a stinking hangover from saturday night :ohno:

Cheers lads n ladies!

Been away in spain for 2 weeks and got back and then went to devon for another week with the girlfriend and her fam.. so haven't done anything!

But in the gap I was back I quickly did this (you can tell it was quick haha :D )

Mounted the ciggy lighter and flick switch for the whole sound system so I can turn everything off all at once if I need to..

Got my eye on a JBL 14001 amp at the mo, which should be the dogs danglies if the price is right - can do 1200RMS at 4ohm :ohno:

Then on the look out for a JBL 1014 sub, 350rms :shifty:

Need to MOT the car first though then start doing the sub install
