Im absolutely raging right now.

I had put Emo, a 1980 1000 Auto on eBay. I had to move it to Bournemouth a few weeks ago and I had to move it again this weekend. It's now been stolen and I'm absolutely fuming.

Not only have I lost the car and money from the sale, the legs for the engine hoist were in there (no where else to store them) and two white rover alloys which I had put on to make it easier to move. I think they were originally white and were immaculate.

That's about £1000 worth of stuff. Because it had previously been garaged none of it was I insured (my own stupid fault I know).

Who do these ******* think they are that they have this right? They want to hope that car turns up or the police find them before I do. I can't even do anything right now as I'm in bloody Germany.

I really needed that money. And now, I'm gonna have to sell my mountain bike or other mini which I really don't want to do.

Absolute scum. I hope they crash into a tree and burn, the bastards.

Please keep an eye out for anything on eBay. The VRN is EMO 813 V.

Give us all as many details as you can

things that are unique to EMO

so if we end up going to look at a freshly painted mini - we know what to look for

hope it ends up safe back in your hands

I'm def getting a cheap GSM tracker for when Jynx is worth stealing

It's a bright yellow colour with a black roof. The roof has small chips or something and you can see the yellow underneath.

It currently has no bumpers front or rear and the front plate is damaged and was in the window, although this is easily rectified. The front panel and wing has had filler or something at some point and although it is yellow, it stands out a mile from the rest of the car.

The white alloys are from a 92 SPi Cooper and have the white Rover Cooper centre caps. Really good condition, both with Yoko A529 tyres with plenty of tread left on them.

The car has no front seats fitted, but they are in the car and they are a bit ripped. If you look at the bottoms they may show signs of damp as they were accidentally left out in the rain overnight once. It has a Rokee dash, which has been stripped of the veneer layer and painted black - I would imagine this is pretty unique but easily removed and identifiable if it turns up on ebay or here.

It was stolen from Bournemouth, and was in front of a friends house, off the main road but easily visable (unfortunately; at my gf's house it had been round the side and you needed to go looking to find it).

It has 10" black Weller wheels which need a touch up or refurb and three of the tyres are knackered. The driver's front wheel has no outer wheel bearing and the castle nut is not on, and the driveshaft might show signs of wear in the attempt to get it back on.

It only has a driver's door mirror, and a reflective blanking bit of plastic where the passenger door mirror would attach. The normal door locks don't have working keys and so a previous owner fitted two Yale locks (working off the same key) at the bottom of both doors - again fairly unique so the doors should be fairly easy to spot.

The mini also has two black stripes going up either side, from the door back. These stripes are on a paler colour of yellow. When I can, I'll post up some more pics and it should be clearer what I mean. You might be able to see it from the above link.

I can't think of anything else right now. I'm so angry. I really needed the money (plus a lot more for the wheels and engine hoist which are now useless) and that was the lesser of the evils in terms of selling. Something else has to give now. My other mini is called Oliver, a 92 Cooper. It needs a strip and build but I was going to reluctantly sell it. Then my sister went and had a baby two weeks ago and called him Oliver :) Now I have to keep him. And my bike is great and I don't want to sell. I might have some kidneys, brains and other organs to sell once I catch the scumbags >_

Guys thank you for the help (checking ebay etc), I appreciate it. Yeah sledgehammer that would be great, thank you.

Max - no one has come to view it to be honest - a couple of offers but nothing. I didn't advertise exactly where in Bournemouth it is for that reason. I think it was probably more opportunistic than anything - easily visible to anyone passing by. And it was done during the bloody day time as well! My gf's friend went to work this morning, everything was fine. Came back and it was gone. No note or anything from a landlord that might have been pissed off with it or anything - just gone.

The only person other than me, the gf and her friend who knew exactly where it was, was the guy who delivered it for me. I know you can never take anything for granted, but he seemed a really genuine guy, and gave me a business card for any future business as well. I will make sure I pass his details on to the police as well - if they bother to do much about it.
