Well this strange. It appears to have been found.

Basically, I had to move the mini because the people that own the building my girlfriend lives in told the land lord who owns the one flat it was against the T&C and it had to be moved by Monday just gone or they would scrap it.

It turns out they have moved it, they happen to own the place my gf's friend is at as well! Unbelievable. No note nothing. I'm tempted to still report them for theft. Im fuming. If they scrap it there will be hell to pay I swear.

as youve moved it from one addess to another you have done as they asked, so you would have a good case for theft

My thoughts exactly. I'm going to speak to then tomorrow and see what they say. Depending on the outcome I will press charges. I will get legal support/advice from the army as well.

They didn't give me a list of properties I couldnt move it to. No contact was made with me or anyone else. How dare they.

Really pleased you've recovered it. I know from bitter experience what it feels like. Definitely a case to answer for taking without owner's consent. Might be nothing more than a stern warning but they'll think twice before doing it again.

glad to here you found it pal, if they took my car, i would unleash the power of a well written letter about how am gonna sue there asses and demand compensation for the time i was without a car.

Another update. It seems that now it was a clamping area. I didn't see any signs. Apparently it's also in the T&C for the tenants that they must have a permit.

Im going to be fuming if I have to pay for it to be released as well.

I would immediately get the Police involved. This is theft, pure and simple. Take pictures of the area it was in (or video). And go to the CAB.
