and the other half of the time the limit is 30, but that's probably not what i'll be doing anyway.

The urban, 30 zones are being extended much further out of towns than they used to be also.
i often speed... but only as and when i feel is a bit more appropriot, ie wider, quieter main roads. exiting villages ill speed up early etc

may as well remove the 5th gear of cars now save on manufacturing costs as at this rate 70's will come down to 60 as well
motorways meant to be going up to 80,
and 5th gear? nowadays most cars are made with 6

The justification appears to be about half the fatalities happen in 60 zones - but what proportion of road usage is that?
