As I said before the only real problem is the motor is not powerful enough and they have trouble parking on a dry screen.
As for one single wiper I found by changing the gear cog in the motor housing you can increase the travel of the arm to 110 degrees, which sitting in the middle clears a large enough area to keep the MOT man happy, but if you were sitting in the proper place the local guy said it would fail because it's not clearing enough of the screen for you to see out.
When I've finished fiddling with my roof I will take a film of them.

yes its a jpr wildcat. based on a cortina usually. u can fit them up with e type bits. the back end is wider than a e type.

ah - do you have any side on pics ? I've ALWAYS love kit car replicas even if I could afford the original car.

We have black fibreglass bumpers and ugly rear lights at the minute, but plan to smooth out the fibreglass and fit smaller/classic lights. E type bits are so expensive, we have a set of bumpers in need of re-chroming, on ebay they fetch £700+ in good condition or re-chromed.

Well done on the MOT, there was a green one like that in a garden near here for a long while, looked like it had been off the road for more than 10 years!

One question for all the wiper modders here: Why don't you weld up the spare holes in the scuttle to get rid of the ugly rubber blanking plugs? Actually, I should also ask that same question of everyone who is doing a rebuild, as most seem to need a new scuttle. And yes, I know there are two schools of thought, some will say it is a Mini so it should have the blanking plugs, as I would say about deseaming. Just wondering what people think really, no-one is right or wrong.
