haha you will be dissapointed with the size of the windtunnel, if you can make a model of it you can test it, at slow speeds, it was really made for wing profiles. I know this because I built it
This is it before it had a set of scales to measure the downforce and drag on it .

Another (70's) option is a RS2000 nosecone.

Fair play, that's effort haha what room is that in? I'm amazed I've never seen it, looks pretty hard to miss
Personally I think the droopsnoot looks better than the rs2000 despite being a Ford fan

the biggest concern using a drop snoot would be getting enough air through (as the grill is blocked so it'd all be coming in through the lower grills) plus I think it would look a bit nose heavey

When I get round to doing this i plan on putting a b16 honda engine in it, so the rad will mount at the front, and i would make sure there's enough air flow :) I assume the rad must be mounted within the structure of the car, cause if I could id put it between the clubman front and my grp nose.
I think the clubman looks nose heavy anyway so a little pointy bit on the end wont do that much to the side profile

Getting air in won't be a issue, you can always find a way to sick air in, you can use the wheel arch for intake and you can stick the rad near the floor, it won't be an issue.

If you war worried about weight, fiberglass it, it will be cheaper and easier to make. You can do that in uni, not sure they would let you use the autoclave for carbon fibre.

The nose cone would be made of GRP. if I can't get an original clubman, I'll put a grp clubman front on a standard mini :) doubt i could afford carbon anyway haha

If you want a hand making it I don't mind giving you some help if you need it. Ive got a year left on my motorsport degree at the Met so Ill be hanging around. May even bring my mini down as well.

I'd call it hideous to be honest!Ugly? Each to there own I suppose
I don't think it'll work, but fair play to you for giving it a go!

I wasn't really involved last year on the renault, too many people, including myself started off on at the start of the year, and it was a case of too many cooks. The windtunnel was a seperate project, but tim wants to us it for the renault's wings. Ive been playing with the real formula renaults in the eurocup this year instead
