Fair play, that's effort haha what room is that in? I'm amazed I've never seen it, looks pretty hard to miss :P

Personally I think the droopsnoot looks better than the rs2000 despite being a Ford fan

Wash your mouth out sir. How very dare you!! BUT it does look tidy and i would have liked to own both but stuck with a MKII RS for 12 years.

Haha I never said i didn't like the rs2000. hey the headlights would be much easier to do, and the escort's certainly the better car ;)

That droopsnoot looks quite like an old Morris Marina or MK1 escort, but I suppose they all looked similar around the time.

No admittedly not all swansea is bad. But if you go to the Met you will be going to townhill or mount pleasant. I had my mini stolen outside of my house student house in mount pleasant along with a 1275gt, a roundnose's window was broken into but they couldn't start it becuase of a killswitch, and another one got as far as the golf parked in front of it and ended up with the engine in the passanger seat. Mine and the 1275gt were found burnt out a couple days later. That was all in one night and all the owners we either on my course or doing something similar. 8 weeks ago a friend has his 309 gti stolen and that hasn't been recovered. What is most annoying is that because I am a young driver, claiming would have cost me more money in premiums in the long run than not. I also fixed it and got It running the day before. Not saying this happens to everyone, or all of swansea is like this. I just don't want it to happen to anyone else.

By Christ, I'm sorry to hear that :( classic cars are a prime Target for opportunistic scum. Was anything salvagable?

People like that always ruin the ownership of interesting cars, was that 309 black and kept by the cornershop up the hill? I'm always iffy about leaving my fiesta up there and thats in the day time.

I always say this but you'd think a uni specializing in automotive engineering would provide secure parking for their students who tend, by definition, to be into their cars. The bike people get it :/

Yeah thats the one. We supossedly do but its a first come first served basis. Its up the hill on the road opposite the downstairs workshop, stanley place, I think its called. But if you live in The houses there is hardly anywhere but on the road you can keep them. I may have a secure space, next year, but thats only if I decide to drive to uni. And in fairness to the bike guys, you couldn't park without blocking people in where they park. And there is a large bike section in the engineering department. What course are you on by the way?

It has a barrier and a guy to watch it in the day I think. But it fills up pretty quickly so you have to get there quick. Well im the year ahead so ive probably seen you around.
