So after having all the work done and getting through MOT back in 2018. She has been sat not doing a lot. Time to get her back on the road for the summer.

Over the last few weeks just been doing minor jobs.

Fuel tank out and drained.
Coolant flushed.
Oil change.
Stripping the flag vinyl from the roof. (Worst job ever and still not finished.

Then got to changing the in line fuel filter only to find that the connections have been modded. So currently trying to get a new piece of pipe made with a standard fitting on the end.

Too much hassle sorting the fuel filter pipes so ordered a complete new set from somerford...

New fuel pipes and filter fitted. All working well with no leaks so fuel tank back in.

Tried to start her but no joy. Getting fuel at the carb and spark on all plugs.

No fuel getting to the chambers so must be a carb issue.

Carb was completely gunked up so ordered a SU service kit and deep cleaned what i couldn't replace...

Carb fitted and running rough, need someone with some know how to come have a look for me.

 

As i drove off the drive....

 

 

 

Luckily i have boxes of spares in the garage...
