Can’t seem to find a replacement connector for the large one.

I will have a look, I have managed to re-pin it, so may not need to connector.

you dont need a connector, you need the pins, and a depining tool.  You can get them from ali express or probably over here too. When i had the R100, i repined a few connectors when i did the speeduino. Where it is bare on one of the wires, looks like someone has been fault finding.

That’s what i have done today. Had a delivery of Econoseal pins both male and female. And the actual Econoseal crimp cool.

Has made a huge difference being able to untangle everything.


All back together after a few days of work.

Replaced clutch slave cylinder and mounting bolts.


Switched to a one piece hose.


Then bleed the system. AND……. she started and drove.

Isolated radiator fan harness…



Turns out fan had taken on water and seized, so that’s my next purchase.

Isolated spot light wiring harness and removed the two spots…

Separated loom, ere moved obsolete MPi ECU feeds…



Relocated engine bay fuse box to behind brake servo.

Re-routed all wired and temporary made engine bay harness.

Weekend job will be to finish off the last bit of loom and re-pin the Econoseal connectors…

Toys arrived from PoleVolt and Amazon…



Econoseal crimp tool
New connectors
Pins and grommets
De-pinning tools

Then set to work sorting some connections out…



And a bit of heat shrink to replace sticky electrical tape…
