No I bought them off a guy on here, I've decided I'm gonna get a set of new doors at some point for it as I'm not happy with the flex these ones have,

Thanks for the comments though, shame I'm not back till December and weather will be horrible we're as it's 50 plus we're I am right now

Id go for something different thats not to common if i had a decnt budget, if i had a few grand to play with id visit the scrap yard and see whats to play with and depending on if i found a suitable moror id either onvert a few things to fit that or send my money on a 1275 A-series and make it a little better

its goign to be a series, im not doing a conversion, i cant see the point in chopping inner wings out when ive just welded new ones in, cars not gonna be used as a daily so its not gonna be constantly running, budget is like what ever it comes to, im deployed for 6 months and have no were to spend my money so come xmas ill have alot to play with

Ahh wow you llucky bugger haha, wish i had deep pockets to look forward to haha, This doesn't require inner wing or any body alterations ....http://www.minir1.co.uk/  :whistling:  :teehee:

Seriously though, i think you should look at the twin can K1100 bike cylinder head conversion, seen a few and seems a neat upgrade which retains most of the A-series with great power

that bike conversion looks good, although i like the look of a series still.

i might go down the 7 port route

Yeah not sure i like the price tag though myself

Why go 7 port when you can go 8!! haha, to be honest it might be a good idea if you start of topic on what;/which is best and pros and cons of each, im sure theres a few guys on here who can tell of there personal experiences with various setups

7 is so much easier than 8 port, 8 port is cool as hell but theres so many more things to think of were as a 7 port is a drop on and bolt on thing with just the issue of getting carbs on and jetted up right, hmmm thing im fallign for that idea

but i got till december to decide what im doing anyway

Yes 2 more months and I'll be back working on the mini, been thinking of a few mods I can be getting on with, but how it looks is ill have about 2 weeks of pure mini work before I have to take the mrs on holiday.

Plan is interia finished off, fuel tank fitted and plummed in with engine work starting, although I might have found a 998 to put in to get an mot on it and then work on getting the bigger engine built at a later date

It's almond green, I've got a tin of spare paint in the boot which is handy.

Yeah it's gonna be sweet to get back and get working on it.

Only good thing out here is everything is so cheap, got me a go pro so I can get some in car videos for a bargain price of £140 ;)

Managed to buy a short block with cam crank and pistons, I've got a good gearbox at home so can use that to get it running, just need to source a few other bits and I should be able to get it running while I'm home
